Nicholas has served as an Entrepreneur, Mortgage Broker and Investment Advisor for much of the past 22 years. He has a passion for finance, technology and helping his clients identify the best mortgage solution for their unique situation. He began his career in 2000 as a loan officer eventually becoming a Mortgage Broker and President of Prime Time Lending, LLC in 2006. Nicholas has been regarded as an perennial All Star loan originator having assisted thousands of clients identify and secure all types of loan programs including FHA, VA, Jumbo, small commercial, Lot and multi-million dollar construction loans.
Mr. Rausch has also served as a series 65 qualified, Principal and Investment Advisor / founder of Robotic Trading Advisors established in 2013 through 2017. Mr. Rausch enjoys teaching and public speaking having taught mortgage, real estate and personal investing related classes in over 64 cities across the United States and Canada. In addition to serving as President of Best Damn Loans, LLC Nicholas serves as the EVP of Business Development for Laredo Oil, Inc.
Nicholas is a Minnesota native who graduated from Saint Cloud State University. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife Nicole and three children.
Jon Rausch serves as Vice President of Operations for Best Damn Loans, LLC, where he plays a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience while helping ensure every loan transaction moves smoothly from application to closing. Since joining the company in August 2020, Jon has become an integral part of the team, combining operational leadership with his experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator.
Known for his commitment to customer service and attention to detail, Jon believes that every client deserves clear communication, honest guidance, and a lending partner who is invested in their success. His background in customer relationship management has helped shape his client-first approach, allowing him to build trust and create a positive experience throughout the mortgage process.
Prior to joining Best Damn Loans, Jon worked as a Customer Retention Specialist with Norton LifeLock in Tempe, Arizona, from 2017 to 2020, where he developed expertise in problem-solving, communication, and customer advocacy.
Originally from Minnesota, Jon studied Business Communications at the University of Minnesota, Mesa Community College, and St. Cloud State University. Today, when he's not helping clients achieve their homeownership goals, he enjoys spending time near his Florida home in Sarasota, relaxing at the beach, cheering on his favorite football teams, and making memories with family.
